In 1994, the legendary watchmaking house A. Lange & Söhne started a new beginning and presented four watches that were both manufactured to the highest watchmaking standards and exceptional in their simple elegance. The Saxonia was one of them. The name alone evokes associations with its origins and is the classic dress watch from the Glashütte manufactory. This model of reference 381.031 was launched in 2018 and the movement was expanded to include a large date. The black dial made of solid silver has a simple Lange design with a decentralized second and harmonizes with the 18-carat red gold case. The caseback is glazed and allows a clear view of the heart of this timepiece, the Lange caliber L086.8 with a gold and platinum oscillating weight. The case diameter of 38.5 mm initially seems rather small, but thanks to the well-designed, puristic dial with the decentralized seconds and the large date, this dress watch looks unobtrusively striking on the arm. The scope of delivery includes the original A. Lange & Söhne watch box with outer box. An extract from the master register has already been ordered. Movement: The automatic movement of the in-house caliber L086.8 was checked by our watchmaker and found to be flawless. You get a one-year warranty on the movement.
