Inspired by the works of English poet William Blake, Sébastien Meunier adopted a sensitive perspective when designing the AW18 collection for Ann Demeulemeester. Blake’s exploration of the soul’s opposing states was realised in the contrast of romantic historical silhouettes with the moody and punk-style edge synonymous with the brand. Crafted from leather, these black corduroy lace-up shoes from Ann Demeulemeester feature a chunky low block heel, a leather sole, a round toe, a lace-up front fastening and a brand embossed insole.
