product description
For sale is an early Fendi Sas, multi-colored 'Fendi' logo print on black coated canvas and black leather, two-way- mini backpack/bucket bag or cross body with 'Fendi' written throughout in red, aqua, purple, blue, and yellow, an adjustable strap, gold hardware, and a drawstring top! This vintage purse from Fendi is the only black purse you will ever need! 8""L x 4""W x 7""H, Strap drop: 2x 32"" (adjustable). Item #: The bag is a rare, early purse by Fendi made of multi-colored 'Fendi' logo print on black coated canvas and black leather! It is a mini backpack/bucket bag or cross body made with coated canvas and leather in black with the 'Fendi' logo design in red, aqua, purple, royal blue, and yellow. There is a round, exterior leather patch at the center with the 'Ff' logo and the strap is leather. It has a drawstring top closure with gold hardware. The interior is in excellent condition and is very clean. It is black leather with a round print of the Fendi logo design throughout the lining, almost like a hologram, where you can only see it in certain light. There is one large compartment with a zip close pocket. The purse is the perfect size to hold your essentials and then some for a night out! It is such a cool, fun piece and is perfect for summer! This is an early Fendi SAS style that predates serial numbers. It has all of the details an authentic early Fendi SAS of this era should, like the embossed Fendi SAS stamp on the interior, the round Fendi logo stamps you can see in certain light/angles, throughout the interior, stamped zipper fobs/hardware- see pictures. It has a fun, yet chic and edgy look that will never go out of style. It'd be a fantastic addition to any collection! Dimensions: 9"" x 4"" when full x 8""; strap drop: two 24"" straps; The purse is in great vintage condition- it looks very lightly used! The only issue I see is that the leather coating from the drawstring is worn in areas, revealing the fabric below. You could easily buy another leather drawstring to replace it, or use it as is- it still works fine and maybe color it with polish. It is not a new purse, but it is a rare style from a top designer that would cost $$$$$ new! Check out my other listings in my store! I have 3K+ vintage and new, designer purses, so, if this one is not for you, I bet I have one that is 'it'! I have lots of wallets that would match, beautifully, with this purse, so take a peek! I also have some white purses from this line for sale in other ads that you might like, too! Questions? Just ask! ? * Please don't hesitate to make a Reasonable offer. I am always willing to negotiate! Condition Notes: The only issue is the leather coating from the drawstring is worn in areas, revealing the fabric below. You could easily buy another leather drawstring to replace it, or use it as is- it still works fine and maybe color it with polish.
about FENDI
Founded by Adele and Edoardo Fendi in 1925, the eponymous Rome-based House immediately won great acclaim and became famous outside the capital city.
The Fendi adventure began on Via del Plebiscito, a busy street whose location in the heart of Rome made it a main thoroughfare used by the transalpine aristocracy. Adele and Edoardo Fendi opened a small and medium leather goods shop and set up what was then a secret fur workshop. Success came quickly and was confirmed when their five daughters, Paola, Anna, Franca, Carla and Alda, decided to get involved in the family business bringing new energy and ideas. Nicknamed the five fingers of the hand, it was they who, in 1965, invited a young German designer to join the House. His name: Karl Lagerfeld! After revolutionizing how to wear fur by fully reinterpreting it, transforming it into a fashionable, soft, light item of clothing, he launched the House’s ready-to-wear collection in 1977. He still provides artistic direction alongside Silvia Venturini Fendi, who represents the third generation of the family and is in charge of accessories, menswear and kidswear. Forever associated with the Fendi image, the legendary Baguette bag and the timeless Peekaboo have helped to shape the House’s influence. It is a reputation that even went beyond the borders of the Earth when Fendi put on a fashion show atop the Great Wall of China on October 19, 2007, making this breathtaking event the first show visible from the Moon!
