British designer Richard Brendon looked to the V & A Museum's illustration archives for inspiration for the Dragon Flower collection, a series of fine bone china tableware made in homage to the intricate and delicate nature of Georgian ceramics. Each piece, including this espresso cup and saucer set, has been handmade in Stoke-on-Trent in England, the traditional home of British ceramics, with the detailed print combining art and whimsy: the flowers resemble dragons for a mythical twist on conventional floral designs.
