Spearheaded by Kyle NG and Ed Davis, Brain Dead is primarily housed in Los Angeles but is involved with people all over the world who share an interest in the disruptive world of counterculture. This ethos is driven through the core of the brand with a vast approach to graphic-led products. Made up with collaboration in mind, Kyle Ng emphasizes “A strong graphic tee needs to mean something. They usually convey a small visual representation of who you are”. With that in mind, Brain Dead’s ever-growing graphic collection is the backbone to the brand, delving into a new level of detail and meaning, pushing them ahead of the pack.
The insurgent approach to graphics has passed through the ranks onto new products away from clothing. Brain Dead now establish themselves as a lifestyle brand, investing in functional homeware accessories that have become synonymous with the collective expression of the label.
For their A/W20 collection, Brain Dead have celebrated an offering of relaxed and comfortable fits. As always, collaboration is rife and they bring together artists Gustavo Eandi and Kaloe Kaaikala for the new season. To finalise the collection, the purveyors of disruption shot their latest campaign on the streets of Tokyo with photographer William Goodan, featuring Risa Hosoyo.
The latest collection of Brain Dead is available in-store now.
